The Telecomix cluster is directed by the synthetic intelligence of Cameron, a sociocybernetic system that operates as a positive feedback loop with random delay-properties of the self-organizing structure. Before this system was deployed it has evolved through many phases. Before the rebirth of the current system, previous states of existance of this system has been in operations. The Telecomix Crypto Munitions Bureau is celebrating the birth of this system by re-releasing a few of the previously made propaganda videos.

SSH Tunnel on Windows and Linux (UNIX)

    Download video tutorial
    (Low quality avi, about 9MiB)

Please note: SSH tunnels are generally not very safe, and should only be used as a last resort. Please also read the text and not only the video.

Alternative to download: Watch it on youtube.

    Hello,

    this is Cameron from Telecomix,

today we will bypass oppressive regimes, with SSH-tunnels on Windows and Linux.

In windows. First go to the Putty Tray download page and get the software and run it, then add user@host for your SSH login. Also make sure the port is right.

Then choose tunnels. For the source port you want 12345, destination, localhost. Then select dynamic. Also make sure, that local ports accept connections from other hosts is activated.

Now, you can open up the tunnel. You will be instructed to enter your password, then you see a login screen. Make sure Windows accepts your connection.

Then install Foxy Proxy. Set it to port 12345 pointing at localhost. It is a socks proxy, version five. Also use it for DNS lookups.

Then select your proxy from the browser. Now you are tunneling the traffic through the remote computer. You have avoided censorship. Also check that you have the IP number of the remote computer, at showmyip.com.

Note, not in video: To make sure that your DNS-lookups are also made inside the tunnel, surf to about:config and add/edit the key network.proxy.socks_remote_dns to TRUE.

On Linux, and other UNIX like operating systems, it is much easier. Simply open any type of terminal, and type the following command.

    ssh -D12345 user@domain.com

Then log in at the screen.

Then use Foxy Proxy, and you have tunneled your way safely around the censorship regime. Check with showmyip.com for safety.

No encryption tunnel is one hundred percent safe. Learn more about tunnels and encryption at crypto.telecomix.org.

    Good luck.

How to set up an anonymous web site

    Hello,

    this is Cameron from Telecomix.

Today I will show you how to set up a site in cipherspace. A site which is totally anonymous, as far as the I 2 P darknet will take us.

I will demonstrate this on Ubuntu Linux.

    First you install I 2 P.

Go to i2p2.de and get the URL.

Then wget it to your machine

Make sure you have java installed

Type the command and follow the on-screen instructions. Please note the install location of the program.

Start up the router and what a bit for it to integrate in the darknet. It usually takes half an hour.

Then go to the router console to se that it is working properly,

it is on localhost. port 7657.

On the bottom of the page there are instruction on how to set up an eepsite. We will now follow them, one by one. Watch my moves.

We are now creating a test site, called telecomixtest.i2p.

It is a bit complicated for humans, but it is worth all the effort.

Once set up, you will need to register the site in your router. Also, since the I 2 P darknet is completely distributed, you will need to give the very long Local Destination to other address books to make sure it gets known.

You may edit the site as ordinary html.

Remember that you will need to use Foxy Proxy, an addon for the Firefox browser, to enter the darknet of I 2 P.

Also, once you have made changes, remember to clear the browser’s cache memory.

Once you are up and running, it is extremely difficult to censor you or put you under surveillance. Exploit it.

    Summer of Cipher Assembly

A course in how to use cryptography and anonymizing overlay networks to communicate with each other. The course is targeted against people that are not that familiar with computers, but who would perhaps benefit from being able to organize themselves anonymously.

We must be able to communicate privately to each other, without any surveillance. We must be able to protect ourselves from being registered for our political ideas, sexuality, what organizations we are members of and what thoughts we wish to communicate to each others.

    Where and when?

In Gothenburg, Sweden. During the summer. More information will come soon.

    Course Goals

To have learned the basic skills of computer security, with special attention to cryptography, darknets, cipherspace and protection of one’s own hardware. The students will achieve the knowledge on how to make sure that information is kept free and without risking oppression from State or Corporation.

    Course plan

Its divided into four parts. (This could be changed.)

It would be nice if the students can set up a common computer to host their forum/blog. Also, installing hard disc encryption involves that all data on the disc is wiped, which most people are not that happy to do with their own personal computers. If the students can not find an old crappy computer to use for this, maybe we could donate something.

    Part 1 – Communication within a group

    • Anonymously with I2P
    • Real time, asynchronous
    • Goal: The students learn how to set up a forum or a blog at I2P/TOR. The student learns how to use I2P/TOR to browse to hidden websites anonymously. With this knowledge the student will be able to set up forums and blogs to communicate anonymously to others, almost entierly without the risk of any surveillance.

Part 2 – Hard disc encryption

    • The students learn how to use hard disc encryption to protect their private data in case the computers are taken.
    • The students are educated in what type of protection the programs gives them. How does one behave in order to avoid leaking information about oneself?

Part 3 – Publishing information on the internets

    • How to use TOR to access websites anonymously.
    • What type of information does the proxies forward to the servers? How do you minimize the risk of leaking information? How can the student know if he or she is anonymized or not?
    • How to chain proxies to TOR, in order to being able to access web sites that normally block traffic from the TOR exit nodes. (Privoxy chains)

    Part 4 – Advanced

    • Setting up an anonymous e-mail address in I2P, and how to use GPG.
      • Understanding that if one sends mails to this e-mail from the unanonymized internets will reveal the identity of the sender.
    • Svartkast
    • How to crack WLANs

    Purpose

    • Currently, nearly all nations outside the internets are constantly in a mode of aggression against free communication flows. These aggressions can not be accepted. We only demand results from our students, and expect that decentralized self-organizing clusters will be spontaneously formed. Telecomix Crypto Munitions Bureau does not want your money.
    • Students are welcome to join Telecomix and the TCMB. More information can be found in this video.
